Heat resistance up to ~80°C
Can stretch significantly; low stiffness
Printing Temperature
Nozzle: 220–250°C
Heated bed: 40–60°C (optional)
Cooling: 20–50% fan to maintain shape
Print Considerations
Slow printing 15–30 mm/s due to flexibility
Direct drive extruder preferred for reliable feeding
Low retraction to avoid filament jams
Layer adhesion is usually excellent, but stringing can occur
Applications
Flexible mechanical parts, gaskets, seals
Protective cases, wearables, grips, and bumpers
Shock-absorbing components
